My old 90T had one, nearly perfect. My 88 had one, nearly perfect. My friend's 89 has one with a few cracks. My 91's lip was missing, but I converted it to an 88 front end with a slightly warped lip that I intend to straighten. :D

Bad idea because it will be difficult to quickly glance at and may be confusing while turning. However, mounting it in a cup on top of the steering coloumn is a time honored favorite. That or get a pillar pod. They really don't cost much.

Yummy... Now start it!
I'm really starting to feel like you've just been teasing me this whole time. Like, after all this, you'll never actually start it for us. lol :(
Most diesel puckups are V8's. Chevy is V8, Ford is V8, Dodge is I6 = Cummins = The best and I want one. Early chevy diesel conversions were chevy small block (V8) gas engines converted to diesel during the period when diesel fuel was much cheaper.
Am I the only MKIII owner not trying to stick 89+ parts on pre-89's? :dunno: lol I have an 88 front end on my 91. :D
*Puts on flame suit.*
Pre-89 front end and 89+ everything else looks best, imo. I think the earlier front end looks more aggressive. I personally like the larger turn...
My 91 with a pre-89 front end conversion:
I've always thought the earlier front end looked much more aggressive. It had front end damage, and I had the pre-89 parts sitting around. It's ugly and dirty right now, but I'll be refinishing the bumper and installing the pre-89 foglights that I...
Haha! There are worse things. Mine's doing the same, but I'm just going to get a dump tube made to point it under the car. I'm keeping mine open because with the power levels I want out of a 3" downpipe and exhaust, I'll need as little extra turbulance as possible. :D

Moe? WTF! What happend to the painted valve covers and coil pack cover? That's doesn't even look like the same engine as the one in your first start up vid. Did I miss something?
I'm calling not the same engine... What are you trying to pull? lol
