What do you guys think of these wheels?

I found another wheel option, but I posted it up in the wheel fitment thread. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?p=856162#post856162

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

What about this wheel? 17x9 +24 offset all four corners. 20lbs each, and $459 shipped. I'm thinking 265/35 or 275/35 tire? Collin

What do you guys think of these wheels?

I was really just playing around with affordable options, so I'm not heartbroken over this. I'm also not neccessarily looking for the widest wheel possible. My plans are to set up the car for road course racing. I want enough tire that I can use every bit of 500-600hp coming into the straight...

Out from where? The stock wheel?

What do you guys think of these wheels?

As I understand it, greater offset means more sticking out so since the offset is less on these, that can be corrected with spacers. Was I mistaken? These are Saleen replica wheels, and I have seen mustang wheels on MKIII's before. They fit very well. Collin

What do you guys think of these wheels?

17x10 is only .5 wider than MKIV wheels which are nowhere close to sticking out like a mofo. lol These are from "that auction site". Search "17x9 Saleen". Option 1 is $534.00 plus $82.00 for shipping. Yeah, #1 does look pretty sick. :D Collin

What do you guys think of these wheels?

Option 1: Front 17x9 with a +24mm offset Rear 17x10 with a +20mm offset Option 2: Front 17x9 with a +24mm offset Rear 17x10.5 with a +20mm offset With the right wheels spacers (10mm?) they will fit nicely. My only concern is that 10.5 on the 2nd set may be too wide. The 2nd...

There was no attitude in that. I was simply clarifying... The time on Supraforums is more current. The post at the top of this page is older.

Pearl White 91T 2JZ swap and build-up! 56k *lots of pics*

2.21 was an old number from my first time at the track with this setup. On the 8th I did 13.4 with a 2.1 60ft. Collin

Pearl White 91T 2JZ swap and build-up! 56k *lots of pics*

New time: 13.4 @ 105 with even less traction. The difference is I changed my exhaust to an HKS Sport Turbo system and replaced the stock cat with a test pipe. Now hitting 10psi, it's feeling much better. Rolling into boost in 2nd, the car starts to get a little loose. 1st pulls really hard. :D...

I think that sounds like the smart way to do it. Have you driven it yet? What are your initial thoughts on the results? I'm sure it's amazing. :)

Or just put a pre-89 front end on your 91 like I did. ;) Congrats Adam! I've never seen pics of this car before, and I'm very impressed. It looks amazing! I can only hope that my car can look as good as yours someday. BTW, wanna sell me those wheels? lol Collin

As of today how much did you spend on your supra and any regrets?

Sitting at right around 12 grand for this one I think, and I've only begun. :) No regrets other than not starting with a better looking car. However, paint is in this one's future, and then it will be pretty too. :D Collin

    Broken drive shaft

I definately felt a difference. The car is much nicer to launch when it doesn't feel like you're trying to roll a tank up a hill. lol Collin

    Cooling at Highway Speed

I recently put a Supra together for a friend of mine, and when throwing it together, she couldn't afford a new radiator. The engine had a MHG but was overheating under load and occasionally down the freeway. It turned out that her stock radiator was clogged and replacing it solved all her...
