In the US it is illegal to vent CFC12 to the atmosphere. It is perfectly legal to recover/recycle CFC12 provided you keep records of where the CFC12 goes. The EPA wording is....
Technicians repairing or servicing CFC-12 MVACs must use either recover/recycle or recover-only equipment approved...
BMW M3 series is out of production?
Infiniti G37, kaput?
Lexus IS350 terminated
Audi R8 (verboten?)
Well this could go on, but hopefully the point is made.
Swapped out my rear speakers. Made an adapter plate out of ABS plastic to go from 4inch to the 4T size to fit the enclosures. Speakers are Infinity Kappa 42.9i
That's just the noise filter caps charging up. The ECU and Alarm draw a little current with everything off, but its not much. If your battery is giving 10.5V open circuit, then it is basically dead. Charge it up or replace it if it cannot be charged.
I know it is in sweden, but it was still in a big accident. You need to make sure the repairs were done right and that the car is not bent. You could start by checking the wheel alignment.
The car was declared a total loss. That means it now would have a salvage title if it was still in the US which would seriously reduce its value. If you are getting it at a low price, and can validate the collision repairs then maybe its worth it. I personally would not buy it, but I know...

Finally back on the road. Rebuilt front and rear suspensions. Tanabe A/R bars, Tanabe GF210 springs, Lipp strut rods, new oem bushings, new cam adjusters, new #1 rear arms, Sethron front BBK,
Had the original tie rods for 19 years, but replaced them because my alignment guy compained they had rusty threads and were hard to adjust. I bought some Raybestos/Spicer aftermarket tie rods that were about 1/3 the price of Toyota tie rods. Should have known better...
First off, unlike the...
I just bought some Diamond Audio D364.5 6.75" component speakers. I'll report on how they sound once I get them installed, but unfortunately they are now discontinued. Mine was the last open-box set they had. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_114D3645/Diamond-Audio-D364-5.html
In his defense, if he was going by the TSRM instructions for compression testing they are pretty awful. The GTE refers to step 7 of the GE instructions, which doesn't exist, and there is nothing about keeping the throttle open either...
