Unfortunately your source, which you failed to cite when you first posted the info, is wrong. Citing it later isn't going to change anything, or make you look any better. Besides, your post on EGR is non-sequitar anyway since it has no relevant impact on HC or CO emissions.

OP: Is your O2 sensor reading rich? Check your fuel rest pressure to see if you have a leaky injector.

The factory alarm does not kill the engine, only the starter. If it cranks, the alarm is not it.
The fuse for the FP is the EFI fuse. You know you can check it manually by turning the ignition on and jumper FP and B+ in the diag block.

If you've ever changed your oil cold, you will know it flows very slowly compared to hot, and that holds for any modern synthetic oil as well. The viscosity monotonically decreases with temp, the multiweights are just flatter with temp, but they are not flat! This plot should help you...

I can only speak for pre 91 speakers, but those the covers are riveted to the door garnish, which has to come off in one piece. The door comes apart pretty easy though.
I have put Eclipse SE8233 3.5" speakers in the forward facing mounts. They have the exact same fitment as above (post 41). I would suggest gluing them in like the factory (I used silicone) to avoid buzzing since the factory brackets are flimsy.
