+1 you really need to check the clearances. If you take the cams out all you need is a feeler gauge and micrometer.

That's a great collection you have there! What bolts do you use to hold the engine to the engine stand? I've been using the tranny bellhousing bolts and they're too thin for the stand's openings so the engine tilts downwards in the front =\ Yours looks a lot more horizontal than mine.

Mechanical FTW! I chose it =) It really is the broadest, and at least at NC State, it shares so many basic courses with other majors it's easy to switch in your first 1 or 2 years into other engineering majors without losing credits.
