I have an EVC II and the manual button lets you use the volume to change the boost on the fly. It's nice when the weather cools down and you're hitting FC in high mode but don't want to switch to low mode =) I have no complaints about its performance, but haven't used an EVC I to compare. I'd...
A lot of little costs come up whenever you do work on these cars :icon_frow They're old, and there are worn parts to replace everywhere.
If he wants to use his 5-spd he needs a bellhousing, if he wants to keep the auto trannys (the cheap ones are all autos) he needs a different driveshaft...
I know what you mean =( My car took 10x longer than expected to finish, and I'm just now doing a proper engine build. I'm trying to plan this phase out so it'll go smoothly and quickly but stuff always comes up!
Wow, our porsche looks 100% exactly the same. Black with those same black wheels with polished lip. I don't know what kind of condition the two cars are in but I'd probably take a good 944 over a good Supra too. If they needed work I'd prefer the Supra but that's cause the 944 is a pain to...
Welcome! Pics of the 944? I bought one with a friend to rebuild as a project =) Haven't properly driven it but it seemed a lot more nimble but lacked powahs =\ It was N/A though.
Ahh I see... It would be easier to get a bigger S/C than do porting and all that. Thanks for the Termi lesson =]
Doesn't it take a ton of $$$ to go turbo with a Cobra? I think twins would be a bit overkill for 600rwhp if you can swap the bower and get that =\
He could have talked to the dude afterwards :dunno: 03/04 Cobras can make 600 to the wheels with very minor mods so a lot of them are around that range. Maybe it was guess? :dunno:
That's really high off the ground to you? O_o I get worried when my car is about 2 inches from the ground lol. But I go through a lot of speedbump areas and have a really steep driveway =\
He's on a Mustang dyno though, those read a bit lower than dynojets and other dynos. Temperature and everything will affect readings too =\
Nice numbers Mark, a fuel pump and that 57 trim you have planned should be fun :biglaugh:
Wow, I didn't know the VVTIs came with singles. I don't know a thing about them, but I expect much additional awesomeness in some form or another next time I see your car =)
Do cressidas have different suspension than MKIIIs or are they the same? That was a crazy video!
My passenger window died once (happens a lot with MKIIIs) and I could not for the life of me force it up or down. I've got a spare passenger regulator and motor though, and I'm pretty sure the motor is the same for both sides, just flipped if you need it.
Try putting it back on the track first...
I don't have that much experience with 1JZs but for drifting I'd probably keep the stock twins. They can support a decent psi increase and I'm relatively sure you can get 80 more HP without upgrading the turbo (which includes a lot more than just slapping the turbo on and driving off). The stock...
