    fresh rebuild code 22 23 and 32

Both those codes need to be fixed. If you have a scope, now is the time to put it on Ks and see what is going on.

    fresh rebuild code 22 23 and 32

His codes say GE, hence the question.

    fresh rebuild code 22 23 and 32

Is this a GTE or GE? And what are the codes now? Did you fix 22, the water temp sensor? Its going to be hard to start when that is defaulting to a warm engine.

    Idle A/F

The 3 minute delay referred to in the other post was specific to his condition. It has no relevance to your problem.

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

This thread is getting so big its hard to find stuff, but see here for timing computation. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?73379-3P-s-TCCS-Disassembly-Analysis&p=1712465&viewfull=1#post1712465 So, on a hot day you will see some impact to timing. Another thing to consider is...

ABS delete question on brake lines

I'll just comment that for 2012 every new US car for sale has ABS, stability control, and traction control, including the cheapest car sold, the Nissan Versa S.

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

Yes, the JDM map does run advanced in some areas compared to the USDM. I thought maybe regular Japanese gas was higher octane than ours, and Toyota felt comfortable running it more advanced, but I don't really know. If I am remembering correctly, my comments about the knock sensors retarding...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

The GTE code is too big so it cannot fit both the JDM and USDM maps, so there is no swapping between them, with a resistor, sadly. I'm not sure I understand your second question. The JDM ECU runs those maps without EGR. I am not familiar with the minimum octane in Japan, but I would make...

ABS delete question on brake lines

On snow and gravel , newer systems use pulse rate reduction to improve performance while still maintaining control. It's been my experience though that locking the wheels is no panacea in such conditions anyway.

ABS delete question on brake lines

Unless you have a brake pedal for each wheel, you can't do as well.

    Another Newbie post... great

The problem is that you were told things, like a high idle cannot be due to pirate air in an L-type EFI system, but you then go off saying it's not true. So then that person says no point helping if he's not going to be listening....

    Brake Lines!

You can easily figure it out by going to any of the Toyota online parts sites, but for example, the rear passenger side line (TUBE, RR BRAKE, NO.5) is $9.44. I'd call that pretty cheap.

Need some tips on a fluctuating a/f ratio

Missed this. Yes, let it idle for 3 min (time it) and see if the problem is reduced or eliminated after that. In the attached figure, you can see the fuel trim at idle with the long 5 second hold after switching lean, then a quick ramp up rich and then back to a long lean cycle. At 11:47 the...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

The OILP signal is funky with the 7MGTE, it is a pulsed signal. JJ has described the senders operation before on this site. The ECU uses that signal and integrates it to form a simple yes/no flag at idle. If oil pressure is deemed to be too low at idle, the rpm is increased by 100 to 750rpm...

    Another Newbie post... great

The only role the TPS plays in the idle control is the IDL signal (closed throttle). Since you already set that your problem is elsewhere.

    Another Newbie post... great

With the engine idling and no code 51, clamp down on the hose leading to the idle speed control valve. Engine should stall. If it does, then your ISCV is likely frozen. You can usually take it apart and free it up. It's a stepper motor driven valve. No other codes are present I assume.
