ok i dont have any codes when i did the diagnostic tests... SO...im going to hook up the green wire and fix the speedo cable... (the part that is broken is the small part from the tranny to the larger part)....then HOPEFULLY this will work... make sense?

hey wait..... by chance were either of you or both of you at an advance auto parts say a week ago? i was at my gfs house and her stepdad came home saying i should have gone to advance with him cause there was a blue mk3 and a pearl white(could have been silver) mk3.... he SAID one was single...

thanks for the replies guys...yeah i have been searching slowly and learning more about the auto now that i havent had a choice lol... i recently found out that the green wire was for the speed sensor and am under the assumption that without that (and the fact that the speedo cable is broken so...

WHAT DOES THIS WIRE GO TO AND ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT ITS FOR? ok update again.... heres a pic of the green wire thats cut that i dont know where it goes to... the other side of the connector with the three wires:

believe me i have been....i cant find a single solid green wire anywhere near the tranny that is part of a 3 pin connector with just one pin being used... :cry:

ok heres a quick update since i decided i wasnt going to sleep until i solved this... i didnt get a chance to look before for the place to plug in the 6 pin connector...my friend did and didnt find anything...i went back and pulled out another auto harness i had and found the 6 pin connector...
