Ive had that clutch for almost 4 years. I have no issues with it. But it is starting so make a bit of noise but its been daily driven and beat on in those 4 years. Well worth it for me.
Heater check the vsv and the valve on the firewall. With heat on the arm should be up. If its not apply vacuum(with engine running) straight to the valve and bypass the vsv. If the arm still doesnt go up then manually move it up and zip tie it or replace it.
There the same. Also same seals. And valves are interchangeable tho sizing is different. Valve springs are also the same. Ferrera makes everything for them as well.
fuel dampner and j tube are 2 different things.
you will also need a wastegate.
can block off the turbo coolant lines.
id also start looking into a standalone and ditching the lex and getting a real tune.
Personbally i thought it was horrible. And im not the only one.
The dm stqage 3 with 2800lb pressure plate is not bad to drive. I have been daily driving on mine for almost 4 years.
Get a stage 3 from driftmotion.
Stock pressure plate with a 6 puck disc sucks. Pressure plate is not stiff enough to slip the clutch for a 6 puck. Just chatters horribly.
It would be much better to just machine the crank and get over sized bearings.
At that point might as well throw new rings in and maching for a metal head gasket.
Not really, ive seen them crack before but i havnt head anything about them cracking lately. My cheap china one been on almost 3 years daily driven and road trips. no issues. i have several buddies running cheap ones no issues
verify cps position as well.
