@Justin.Daniels - I could surf the salvage yard for one to send ya. What kinda price for the service?
@ compton 74 Ouch $100? That's making a scratch built one?
@supra mn - And yeah I got a fail safe gauge with AFM/boost looking for simple clean and functional.
I would like to have one pod in my steering coulum for boost/AFR. The a pillar pods are not what I want.
I know VW and Mitsubishi have pods in column,how about for the mk3?
@IJ
Sorry I misread your first post in the thread. I'll run a dedicated power wire for the relay and pump 10 gauge with 10 gauge ground and soldered connections with heat shrink. Btw sHould i run the FP wires on opposite side of the car so I don't pick up noise in the subwoofer?
Is 6 gauge strong enough to use for moving the battery to the trunk? My battery is going to be small if I keep it in the front. Like 7 ¾ long by 8 tall and 7 wide with 450CCA
Lights don't dim with bass. Its only 200w. When its maxed out its annoying. Can't see out of mirrors. Start bleeding...
Alright I'll search for a "fused distribution block"
BTW how do you figure out amp drawl on a fuel pump? I assume the lph and pressure have something to do with it and the 12vdc is a contrant. I'd like to know just to learn and know why.
Thank you!
I should have added the relay to the picture. But I felt no one would be that ignorant to run power 24/7 to pump.
@SC61 MK3
So just split the power from the big cable to amp and relay for FP and use a 60amp fuse for subwoofer/FP at battery. the subwoofer uses a 20 amp fuse built in so I...
Sharing the vaccum/boost signal with fpr and map bad? And I was reading on flying miata the the vaccum signal is best at the back or middle of intake. Is this true about signal quality on air pressure?
sigh :/ to bad i couldnt do it right once.
it was good to see you supraguy@aol @ the supra/celica meet! to bad there was only one mk3 and 3 mk4 supras and a bunch of celicas and 4 mk2 supras hahaha
about to finish my build and its down to vacuum lines and some wiring.
my question is this MS paint picture accurate on how i should do my vacuum lines? I didnt know if there is anything wrong with feeding sensors and actuators with same hose.
or add another hole (line) just for...
So i have a heavy power cable (1200watt rated) for a subwoofer that goes from engine compartment threw a 40amp maxx fuse then under the carpet to trunk to a 200 watt subwoofer. I have a 400lph walbro that i was going to power from off that same 1200 watt rated cable. So i was thinking about the...
