I'm in the process of splicing the wires in for my Prosport boost and EGT gauges. I used the green wire that goes to the cig lighter for the ACC, but I'm not sure where to tap in the constant +, Ground and parking lights. If I tap into the wires for the radio, do I have to worry about alternator...
Whoa! Those canisters are still huge imo. The one I pulled from the Kia Spectra is maybe half the size of the Accord canister, around the size of a 6oz cup. Now mind you it doesn't have a check valve, but inline valves are available.
Ok, somebody sent me a pic of the plug connected.

I still can't find it. Any idea what harness that plug is on? I'm about ready to hit the junkyard to and tear into a dash just to see where the plug routes to.
Ha! That's a good one.
I spent probably an entire day sourcing that valve. Even when I found it, I couldn't find a way to get it. Generant only sells to dealers and a minimum order is $500. The valve itself is less than $10. Most places told me it would take a few months and they would charge...
I've been dealing with this issue myself. I've scoured the salvage yards a couple of times looking for a replacement cc with a small footprint. Like IJ just mentioned, it's best to get one with the check valve already installed. I couldn't find anything with a built in check valve, but I did...
Interior is going back in. Snapped some quick pics to show off some panels. Notice the shadow gray leather inserts were dyed a darker black. This was done with everything except the seats.
Youch that's tight! Exactly why my a/c's gotta go.
Lucky for me my throttlebody ends before the cam gears and I'm not using the factory shroud. There seems to be several inches between the FAL's and the alternator pulley. Plus, I'm only going 2.5" on the pipes.
But what do I know? Right...
How you figure? I'm running a FFIM which faces the TB straight forward and I'm plannning on running the IC pipes straight down so I don't have to deal with relocating the battery. With the fluidyne and the the FALS, there's only a couple of inches from between the electric fans and the ac...
Yeah, that appears to be it. I wonder where the other plug migrated to. It could be stuck behind anything. Damn! I'm am so conflicted on if I should even bother pulling things and looking for it.
I have to remove my ac compressor to make room for my IC pipe routing. So I won't be running ac...
No, I pulled the ECT ECU and never reinstalled it. I hope that won't throw any codes. I can't remember how it went back in. Btw, I don't even know what that white box on the right is, or how it fits back in. I just crammed it in the corner and it fits snug, I just know that couldn't be where it...
Yeah, I don't see how it can be the ECT plug since the ECT computer is all the way over on the passenger kick. I really hope I don't need this mystery plug since it was a royal pain in the ass to tuck up all the wires out of the way. I might have to undo it all in order to get back over to that...
It was an auto. I did a AT-MT swap and used a JDM AT ECU. However, you can see on the right that all three ECU plugs (grey) are already connected to the HKS VPC PnP Hareness.
I was in the process plugging in the dash harness and came across this lonely plug. Everything seems to be plugged in and I have no idea what this plug is used for, let alone if I even need it.
Any ideas?
50% of MSRP if it's run of the mill equipment from the last several years. However, if it's a discontinued specialty item; like an Alpine 7909 deck or a Phoenix Gold Frankenstien amp, you can tack on a premium.
Also, look to ebay for current market value. A quick view of completed...

My head hurts from trying to follow your pipe routing. Definitely something new; I'll give ya that.
I know I've heard of a 680cc chip for the MKIII, they're just extremely hard to come by. People have ran 550cc injectors on the 440 chip with a GCC or SAFC with no problems. I would think that with proper tuning, the same can be done with 680cc injectors and the 550 VPC chip. However, I have no...
