One last question. I'm using a HKS VPC and not the AFM. If the vacuum port is sourced from the side of the FFIM (instead of the TB) with a PCV valve flowing to the manifold, will this distort the readings of the VPC's pressure sensor and effect drivability?
Does this mean I would have to have the hose from the tb T'd into the intake pipe, or will it still work to have to separate hoses with check valves; one from the tb to the cc and one from the intake pipe to the cc?
Seems simple enough. So both the intake pipe and the intake mani are pulling pressure through the catch can, which in turn pulls vapors from the valve cover. Right?
My catch can has seven ports on the top as well as the bottom. If I run lines from both valve covers to the cc bottom ports...
I just purchased a 31x12 intercooler off ebay for $79 shipped and am quite surprised to see the quality is good. The first intercooler I received had a core that was pinched in the center, however, the seller sent me a replacement at his cost with no questions asked. He even included universal...
I don't think that will work correctly. From reading through all the posts it appears that the line running from the tb/intake manifold needs to pass over the valve covers and then go to the catch can inlet to push the vapors during idle (good idea to use 1-way valve after tb to prevent pulling...
I would think that I would have to have the SAFC wired in after the VPC. I know in the SAFC install doc it states that if your using a FCD, then it needs wired in before the SAFC. Now I know the VPC isn't an FCD, but it does remove FC. Now the Zeitronix can just be wired into the SAFC2 harness...
I currently have a safc2 hardwired in (car has not ran yet). However, now I need to add a VPC (have pnp harness), EVC1, and Zeitronics wideband. What gets wired before what?
Do I have to pull the safc2 wiring, repair the factory harness and wire the the safc2 into the VPC pnp harness?
