Yeah, I heard of those noise laws. Isn't that what the JASMA certificate means? That it's a low noise system?
I actually have an RSR GTII universal 80mm muffler with silencer new in box. However, I like the looks of the Trust muffler better. That, and I don't want to hack apart such a nice...
With my current setup I should be somewhere around the 500whp-550whp range. I recently purchased a nice looking Trust Power Extreme II catback because I heard that it was a full 3" all the way through. However, I looked into the muffler and it appears to taper down to maybe 2.25" inside. I'm...
"The car's styling, with bulging biceps courtesy of Porsche, is aggressive."
Am I the only one confused by this statement? Did Porshce really have a hand in the styling of our cars?
Really nice example of a well cared for vehicle.
However, if you do purchase; I'd at the very least have the head bolts retightened to the proper spec.
Removal is cake, but installation is a real bitch. Definitely wouldn't attempt it alone. Make sure your removal the dash wire harness from the old dash and install it in the new one unless you are sure the one in the new dash is from the same year.
Also don't make the same mistake I did...
You can wire all 3 to be run together. The FCON will just provide a different fuel map than factory ECU that you can adjust with the GCC. So basically, the FCON is pretty useless at this point but can still be retained. Most people (myself included) go with the SAFC when using the VPC since it...
Really? You wouldn't happened to have saved the issue? I personally would have. If you got it; post it up for us :)
*** Nm; see you added a pick. Pretty cool; how long ago was that thing posted? That's some serious coin for an 86! ***
I realize it's a typo. Even still, this month's Auto Locator caught my eye with a MKIII on the cover. Snatched it up as I was walking out of Sam's Club.
Pretty low mileage for an 90; too bad it's a non-turbo.
Advertised price inside isn't too bad though.
For $100g's they may consider. You must have money to burn because I shop will charge crazy $$$ for full color change and seats recovered. I would think at least $5000 to do it right. The time and materials would be pretty up there alone.
I guess it all depends on year and model of the vehicle. For the most part, Fujitsu-Ten made the majority of factory radios for Toyota; so one would think that would carry over to Lexus as well. I have seen LS400's with factory Nakamichi radio's; but they were a premium option.
Did you happen to see any LIPP FFIM's on that shelf? Always wondered if any ever made their way into member's rides. I have yet to see one installed and in use. Just mocked-up by Greg.
^
Actually fairly mass producted by LIPP. Believe LIPP did a couple of runs. They didn't come polished though. I wasn't aware that they were no longer available. Hell; I have a brand new one sitting in my closet along with the LIPP AFM adapter. Never used it since I decided to go VPC. I was...
