I took advantage of the warm weather this weekend and finished painting some more parts including the plastic parts around the front seats and their vinyl backs. I also cleaned, dyed and conditioned both front and back seats.
The seats have been wrapped up for years. When I cut the the...
Looks like a glorified go-cart to me. But if that's your thing; $3500 seems more than resonable. However, I gotta wonder what the operating cost of one of those would be.
I was going to recover the targa, however, I can't seem to get the weather stripping off with tearing it to pieces; and it currently doesn't leak. I may actually attempt to tuck the same thin carpet I used on the doors under the edging on the targa and spray glue it down on top of the existing...
I was having the same issue with a cheapy Autozone iron. However, it turned out that it was due to the shitty solder that iron came with. I bought different solder and now have no issues. There is still some technique required. I'll hold the iron under the wires for a few seconds. For some...
Small update. Finished almost all of the wiring. Got the guages in. The Lotek pod was shit. Didn't line up with the dash at all. I had to take a heat gun to it and reform. Put the glove box and steering wheel in. Facime did a fantastic job. One of these days I will push the car into the sunlight...
Just grab yourself a tiny one off a Kia Spectra and take the 2 bolt bracket off the firewall while your at it. You could fit that thing anywhere and run the line out through the fender. Just make sure you source a check valve with the correct crack pressure as Kia's don't run one.
I tried smoking them in the past.
The high was great, but the comedown was just horrible. Not to mention the withdrawls the following day :biglaugh:
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
On a serious note, does tinting have to be done on the inside of the lenses or does it hold up just fine if...
I'm in the exact same predicament. I'm running the same radiator and fans as you and there is next to no room left for piping. I was going to just pull the AC comp for the time being, but oval pipe is definitely an option. I totally forgot about it. I searched in the past and could never find a...
This reminds me of a little doucher in my area who torched some kids car when he was on vacation with his parents; and only over a couple hundred bucks.
There are idiots out there who can justify anything. Scares the shit out of me. You sir just inspired me to mount an outside camera.
My...
Square plugs that run below intake manifold on engine harness. I know the rear speed sensor plug on an auto engine harness has 4 wires, where as the the sensor on the r154 only has 3 wires. The plugs are plug and play as long as the one on the tranny hasn't been cut off (like on mine ). I...
Saw the movie and absolutely hated it. Boring as hell. Only one night scene that was a tad bit scary towards the end. Acting was so bad that I couldn't for one second even pretend it was real.
How anyone could be scared from this is beyond me. It's like the Blair Witch Project for christ...
Doors are donedizzle.
They look freakin awesome! Vinyl painted with AutoMagic flat black. Plastic painted with Krylon Fusion. Shadow grey leather panel dyed dark black and rubbed down in Lexol conditioner. Lower door recovered with black carpet.
You'd think the panel was available like...
I found it! I had to go to the junkyard for reference, but apparently the mystery plug was one of plugs coming off of the same harness as 3 plugs in the same area. One plugs into the white climate control box, the other goes to the 2 wire sensor. I just grabbed the wire that was plugged into the...
