That's good to know. I'm definitely going to look into one. Would you happen to have any pictures of the one in your car? The only picture I've found is the one JDMA70 posted.
I went up to the ford dealer today to get some Motorcraft 80w-90 and the Ford Friction Modifier for the LSD. The guy working there asked what it was going in, and I told him a Toyota. He looked kinda confused at first, and then laughed. Then as I was paying the manager came up to me and said...
Thanks for the link. I didn't even realize that DashMat was a brand, I always thought it was just a generic term.
It looks like you can get one for the MK3 for $40, that's not bad at all.
Did you secure your's to the actual dash with Velcro like their website says to, or did it stay in place...
No, I'm not sure what the previous owner had in it, but I've had it for 17k miles now and only used the valvoline. I did have to replace my valve cover gaskets and distributor O-ring but I don't think the oil caused this, I'm sure this was due to old age. The only other leak I still have is my...
Nice, I liked the "Fuel injection was witchcraft."
For me it was probably my Dad's cars he had when I was real little, an MGB I believe, a Datsun 280z, and then a 69 Ford Torino GT that he still has today. I barely remember working on the first two with him a little bit, and definitively...
I think you can get up to 6 samples sent to you for free so you can always do that and see how it matches. I don't know how well the "cranberry" would match my burgundy either, I just haven't gotten around to ordering samples.
I don't think its bad either. For $125 you can get a full set of 4...
Yeah, they look so bright because I used the camera on my phone, it struggles with night photos. They look good, and go off when the doors are closed so they aren't on when driving.
I've been wanting to get new floormats as well. My drivers one is starting to get a hole where your heel sits...
I believe the spoiler ones are, but if you don't have a spoiler like myself then it is just a regular bulb. There's a DIY thread on here for redoing the LED lights in the spoiler.
I do too. I'm pretty sure the things I notice only I notice though... I always notice when a car has and LED third brake light but incandescent bulbs for the others, they light up just a little slower. Most people probably think I'm crazy.
Ah, I didn't notice that. I thought I read somewhere that they are really hard to find, or maybe unavailable new. I wouldn't take this as fact though, I just seem to remember something about this.
Yeah, me too. That's why I haven't replaced the gauge cluster lights. They make green LEDs but I think they are a different shade of green. All of my AC lights still work. It seems to me that Toyotas have problems with the lights on the cars with the circular knobs for A/C and heater controls...
Looks good Doat. When you said interior light I was thinking the gauges, not the dome light, but that looks good as well. Your dome light should still fade a little and then shut off. I actually added some LED foot well lighting on both sides. It fades a little and then goes out, not entirely...
Where is the flasher fuse on our cars? Also any pictures of the interior with white lights? I'm thinking about getting white for my interior lights as well.
