General Q about wastegates and BOV's

There are boost controller valves that relieve pressure on the intake side. I just can't remember what the technical name is right now...:dunno: It's set to open at x psi and when the pressure reaches that psi, it opens, like a wastegate for the intake side. Just more insurance to keep...

My new Mod(not a go fast part)

Radar detectors are worthless now. With most cops using laser, when your detector tells you there is a laser cop ahead, that's when he has already clocked you. I drive to work on I85 in georgia everyday. My Escort hasn't helped me one bit. The gwinnett cops all use laser now, my detector...

    88T vs 91(?) NSX

Early 90s NSX are slow. I was driving my brothers 96 M3 (exhaust and intake) and raced one from about 75-130mph. The NSX had exhaust, wheels and a chameleon paint job... He was in front and could not pull at all. I could not close the distance either. A few miles down, he ended up behind me...

    VPC Hardwire it or no?

It's pretty simple. For the 87-88, you need three resistors. Make sure you solder everything. I hard wired my vpc and it took about 30 minutes, which included hard wiring the wideband and AFR too. Saved me $100+ for the adapter harness to be used on something more useful.......:bigthumb:
