Came home and saw that my passenger projector had been knocked out of alignment when I pulled up to the garage door. I pulled the headlight, straightened the projector, and tightened the lock nut down real good. All is well now and hopefully it stays that way.
You might be able to get the sub-frame bushings from Toyota as well if you need them in black. The only place to get the steering rack bushings in black I believe is Toyota as well. For the front sway bar bushings you can get the black poly bushings from energy suspension. The rear ones from...
Yeah, the double din radios do fit really well in the stock opening. I think mine was $280 or so.
I've never done anything that far into car audio, but have looked into it before. It isn't really a car specific thing so you should be able to find lots of information online.
I use the bluetooth to stream music and use it with pandora and it lets me skip tracks and change stations and what not. The bluetooth calling is great too. Mine doesn't have navigation where it would show up on the screen (I think), but that's ok. Im good with directions for the most part.
I didn't really think about that. What all is there from the regulator back that could leak?
I don't have an external leak where a hose or connection is leaking for sure, and I doubt that my injectors are leaking, they show no signs of it. The only things that I can think of are the regulator...
Looks like you are making good progress. Can't wait to see it running. I like it when I see your thread has updates, always lots of pictures, even if all those wires scare me :)
Any more pictures of your car? It looks clean and I like the wheels.
It's like free undercoating!
First I rolled over 88,888.8 miles.
Then later I was backing into a parking spot a few spaces down from a Jeep where the guy was sitting in it. He said nice car, and I said thanks. Then he...
Just a note for the OP. I tested my fuel pump check valve using the jumper in the diagnostic box today. I let it sit in there for about three minutes and started the car with the jumper still in. The car started up great every-time with the jumper in and did not when the jumper was not it. I...
Nice build man. I'll be watching to see what you do with the 2J.
I'm pretty sure that is a turbo motor already. The ge's have a y-pipe that goes over the valve covers and the gte's have the front facing intake. I could be wrong though.
Oh, well it looks good in the picture at least. :)
Rust scares me... I'm glad we don't really have to deal with that too much down here in the south.
Free parts are the best parts!
Looks good, it's the little things that make a big difference. I never noticed that the TOYOTA emblem on the...
I use the quick detailer spray as well but mix it with the sealant I use on my paint. Then when I wipe down the car after washing it or when it is a little dusty it makes it shine a little more because of the sealant mixed in with it.
Your car looks good, and it looks like your brother has a...
Thanks! That's what I was hoping for.
Suprasvoboda I just reread you initial post and saw that you said you are the original owner. Congrats! Not many of you left.
That's what I thought.
Just out of curiosity do you know if this applies to the N/A 7M as well?
This thread has sparked my interest in solving my hot start issue as well. I think I am going to jump the fuel pump tomorrow and see if my car starts normally or not. If so I will look into...
Here's my thread on the FPU VSV and there is information on the fuel pressure check valve in here also.

I haven't found where I read that the car doesn't turn on the fuel pump when the ignition is only...
That's always a good way to re-spark interest in something. Buy parts for it! Then you get to order the parts, wait for the parts, install the parts, and then finally enjoy the parts. That's probably one of my favorite things about having a car. I think it will be good if you do bring the car...
