Sounds like what I will most likely do as well. I'll be paying attention to what you do with the tanabe springs, they seem to have the least drop which is what i want. That's impressive that they don't seem bad at 300+k miles. My car has only 89k so maybe I don't need to do the bushings like I...
Nice! Where did you get the louvers, and how do they fit/install? I've been thinking about getting a set for mine at some point, but it's hard to find any info on them because they are so uncommon for MK3's.
Today I dropped the tank, replaced the fuel pump, replaced the fuel filter, got it all back together, and have a very slight leak on the fuel filter outlet side.... Time to crawl back under there and see if I can tighten it up anymore.
I think it was gixxer. Anyway, I'm pretty sure he did his for a MK4 supra, but the same basic concept would still apply to a MK3. I'm contemplating doing something like this when I redo my suspension at some point.
Nice, I think they will look much better silver. I'm not too big on black wheels.
That other antenna looking plug is an antenna. MK3's had two antennas. The power one and one built into the back glass. The oem radio would use whichever had better reception.
I might be wrong, but the two plugs in the upper middle actually look like the stereo harness plugs but it is hard to tell.
A lot of times when they make reproduction interior parts they come in black only and if you want a different color you have to paint them to match. At least that's how it was with my dad's Torino, and that's why we converted the interior to black instead of the dark green that it was from the...
I think it's a good idea as well. I often wonder what is going to happen in 5, 10, maybe 15 years when parts become no longer available from Toyota. There are already more and more parts that are being discontinued. You have to think about it too that the youngest mk3 is 22 years old and the...
Looks good as usual Rodel. Is that the purpose of the Kevlar? To protect from scraping the lip?
Also, I like that the Supra is sitting on blocks of wood. That is my choice as well when doing minor things under the car :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks these Acura wheels would look good on a MK3. I've been seriously contemplating getting a set for mine. I would like 17's on mine and the Acura wheels are 17x8 +45 I believe so I think they would fit pretty well all around. There is a company that sells...
If I was in the market for another Supra I'd drive up to Missouri snatch this up for 5k right now. You could get more than 5k. There was a super botched together Supra with an LS1 on my local craigslist here listed for $4500, and it was a total dump. Your car is 100 times nicer than this one...
Yeah, I was reading a thread where a guy had a very high hp 7m with a 4" exhaust and he had a drone around 2k rpm as well. Seems like a common RPM for these motors to drone at. I think I remember you saying you didn't use a resonator. That's probably why your's sounds kinda ricey and is loud. I...
I've been meaning too. I had it all installed and welded up last week I think it was, maybe the week before. It sounds really good, just like I wanted, and looks almost exactly like stock, but it is a little drony around 2k RPMs. I went and talked to the guy about reducing the drone and he said...
You should be excited. $360 for a set of what are now essentially new wheels isn't bad at all. I've toyed with the idea myself of getting some 17's from another car like a MK4 or so for my Supra. I really like the wheels on the 04-06 Acura TL as well and think they would look really good on a...
