Today I got gas in the Supra. I saw a MK4 Supra as well, but wasn't able to wave because I was to busy honking at the idiot running the red light. I actually didn't see the MK4, I heard a turbo, looked in my rear view and saw a white MK4 going the other way. I usually try and wave at all Supras...
I put the ford oil and ford additive in my car about a month and a half ago. I think I put a little less than 2 ounces of the additive in. My LSD seems to be working perfectly, I haven't noticed anything strange. I assume it still spins both wheels, but I don't really do burnouts or anything so...
3 spoke wheels aren't my favorite, but to each their own. I still respect your guys' cars a great amount. I certainly wouldn't say they are lame or a chick thing. A Scion TC fills both those categories :). (No offense if you drive one or like them)
You misread that ,he said they don't play...
Very Nice! I love Tacomas, and that blue is gorgeous. Was the supercharger factory installed or will you need to install it?
Good call with the 4x4, that truck will never leave you stranded anywhere and will last forever. I'm sure you will love it, except for the gas mileage. My dad has an 09...
I would not be happy at all. Hopefully you can resolve something with them.
This reminded me my tags expire at the end of the month. Looks like I have to take a trip down to the DMV here sometime soon and talk to all the lovely, competent, caring people that work there.... I hope I don't...
I forgot your car is going to have more speakers than mine since yours is a 91. I was actually referencing the hatch speakers, but it is probably good to replace all the speakers you have back there. I know for the hatch ones I had to drill a few extra holes to mount the 5.25" speakers I put...
Yeah, it's not hard, just tedious. Take your time and don't rush it or you will start breaking stuff.
While you are back there replace your rear speakers if they need it, and your taillight gaskets as well if then need to be replaced. This way you only have to take out those pieces once...
I know what you mean. There is a really solid feel to the Supra, you can tell it was made to be solid and quality, not with whatever plastic was cheaper at the time. The only pieces on my car's interior that have broken are the rear ashtray, and that was someone not pulling it out the correct...
Well I just ordered the stuff for my exhaust. I went with a MagnaFlow 12251. Its 2.25" inlet with dual 2.25" outlets. The case of the muffler is 5x8x18 and is pretty much as big as you can fit under the car. The longer the muffler the quieter they are, so that is why I wen with the 18" one. For...
Looks Good!
I was going to say this, but you beat me to it. It really is very noticeable once you realize it.
Whenever I take my car somewhere I always remind them multiple times that they are directionals despite how they look.
Congrats on getting it painted. To see if they are still available go to the TSRM website and go to the EPC(electronic parts catalog) and find the turn signals and tail lights part numbers and then search for them on google/toyotapartszone.com. This should tell you if they are still available.
Yeah, those are the bushings. I tried to find the company on ebay, but it appears they only have the bushings for right hand drive cars in stock right now. If your hoses are leaking I would definitely recommend replacing them while the rack is out. It will be much easier this way. I just went...
Definitely get some poly rack bushings to replace while you are in there. I believe raptor racing sells a set as well as a company that makes them and sells them on ebay. I went with the former. Also if you are replacing the rack I would clean out the power steering reservoir and screen and run...
