Those first two big wires connect from the alternator to the black wires in the fusebox area which used to go to the ring terminal on the 7m alternator. The colors for those power steering wires look right. Dunno about the ABS. That big connector on the 1jz harness is EA2, there are wiring...

The plugs you will need are for the dash harness, the ECU plugs are not touched. You don't actually need your 7m harness plugs, it just makes life easier. I was able to make all of the plugs from other toyota plugs. If you have a 90+ car, one of the plugs on the 1jz harness is the same as well.

If all your fuses and fusible links are good, chances are it's either the main positive wire to the cabin at the battery or the circuit breaker in the drivers kickpanel. I'm betting on the wire at the battery since I've had lots of problems with the connection there.

If it's not the high pressure line it's fairly generic hose and you can probably find a replacement at any auto parts store. If it is the high pressure line, then yes, the 2jz hose is compatible, and don't bother to try and patch it.

On the topic of power steering, those of you using the original 1JZ reservoir, what hose did you use to run the feed line to the pump? It looks like the hose basically has to do a 180 turn from the outlet on the reservoir to get to the pump. Is there something common that fits?

Gotta replace the caps in the 1J ecu because they have a high failure rate. One day your car is running, the next it won't start. Replacing them is not expensive or hard though. If you need any help with the swap, let me know, I live in northeast CT and I've done a couple of 1j swaps.

There's no real routing...the 1jz ps pump is on the drivers side of the engine, and the 7m one was on the passenger side. So the 1jz hose from driftmotion is alot shorter than the original 7m one. It just connects on the rack where the original high pressure line from the 7m went in.
