I tried asking this before but never truly got a straight answer.. but I know a few of you in here have the TTR seats with the factory rails.

As for mine they didnt come with the rails, my question is can I modify the stock powered rails to use them? Or, would that somehow position them too high? Theres a company in california that will make them for $375, but thats a bit ridiculous considering I can get the actual TTR equivalent rails from JP through rinkya @ $70 each, but it would require me to wait a long damn time to get them.

What do you guys think? OneJoe is one of them that should chime in, and theres a few others on here, OneJSupra possibly IIRC? Give me opinions or ideas.

Dylan: I don't have TTR seats...(wish I have though). I say buy from it JP and wait if you can. But others may have it and chime in and see if they can help you...

I can tell you right now, there's no chance the powered rails would work with the Recaros, short of needing so much custom work that you might as well build them from scratch. They are very integrated into the design of the stock seat, such that they would pretty much have to be cut off. The various arms for adjusting the seat positions, if left unattached, allow a dangerous amount of slack in the mounting. I know this because we adapted the supra seats to a toyota pickup.

The manual passenger seat is a much simpler affair, and it may actually be possible to move that over to the Recaro's, but I can't say for sure.
