those are autozone pads or something. not really high quality so noise will be a problem.

What kind of pads and did you break them in? Cheap pads squeal easily even ceramic. The red stuff are better than the porterfields. Brake dust might even be worse. I removed front and rear red stuff and put factory pads because I got tired of cleaning them.

The block needs to be machines the fit. The rods should be checked to see if they need to be re sized. Rings end gap needs I be checked. Standard engine building basics really.

You can try flipping the wires at the Ecu for the can plug and then change it from falling to rising. If the cam is already on rising then switch the wires and go to falling.

How is the feed hose from reservoir to pump. And is the screen in the reservoir clean?

Do you have the proper dwell times for the coils? Iirc there pretty picky but could be wrong.

Rock auto sells them. You have to look at different years. The difference is in one of the mounts for the hard lines. Everything else bolts up fine.

Only cost 40-60$ to have the head machined. Better to just do it now.
