Well if all your going to use is the safc then yes you should tune it. or better yet switch to a standalone.

You could. Your going to have to get different twin turbo manifolds as the stock ones will not work. Which will require customer down pipes oil lines and intakes.
Also might not see that much difference in response as the stock twins spool damn near instantly
v160 bolts up to jz and plenty of parts are available.
the problem with t56 is unless you score on a sweet deal is prolly going to cost just as much as a v160 setup.
You need to use a cluster from the same year car. For the tach you need a turbo tach for turbo engine but if the cluster is a different year you need to use the same year cluster and swap just the tach.
It's not the rotor that needs clearing. It's the caliper that hits the wheel. You cannot move the rotor back more or else it will hit the arm for the ball joints and tie rods.

Used to use castrol syn but since oil has steadily kept going up and redline is not much more i started using that prolly about 3-4 years ago. was using the 5w30 but will start using the 5w40. The 5w30 is pretty close to a 5w40 as is tho.
