    Thank you guys for the compliments. Removal of the dust sheild does increase cooling on the inside rotor face. Also it is not relevant to have it if the rotor is larger than the dust sheild.

    The rotor is bigger than the dust shield and you need the room to put the new caliper in. Also there really is no need for it.

    Get the caliper ready as well. The brake line inlet is threaded to 1/8-NPT (national pipe thread). This is a tapered fitting and has no torque value. Use some Teflon tape, you are not mummifying it so do not over do it. Also make sure the tape does not go past the last thread, if it touches...

    Returning brake vibration

    100 grit sandpaper, circular motion on both sides of the rotor, sand the pads a bit too. Go out and re-bed the pads. Should be good after that.

    After sitting in the heat, in Palm SPrings this weekend, ya I want some AC. Mine is stock at the momoent with 7M pump, but will be swapping the 1jz with aristo pump in July. I am definately interested in this.

    Aaron at Driftmotion told me to use an LS400 fan clutch with the 7m fan and shroud. I cannot confirm this will work as I am still in the building stages of my motor.

    If it is a non-turbo 7M then it is the w58, turbo model had R-154. I am doing my swap with the W58 for now.
