Hey guys, I currently have an 87 na with a w58... I am trying.to determine what exactly is needed to swap in a 1UZ... As far as I can tell would be mounts, an adapted harness, and a bellhousing adapter and a flywheel. If I'm missing anything please tell me... my clutch is great so I won't need...
Got the same thing right now... happened yesterday.. I got 7m'd... oh well looks lime I'll be switching tags and reg over to the escort til I can pull the motor out.. sucks...
i basically installed a basic relay on the radiator support and wired a 12V hot leg to the third contact down on the fog switch, then from the contact down on the switch i sent the 12V to the coil on the relay and ground the other side. Then just connect the two fog negatives to ground and wire...

Make sure you choose the correct year for your car.. It is a re-wire of the fog light circuit. I attempted to do this but i was unsuccessful, so instead i rewired the whole fog circuit. If that is the route you want to go, let me know and i can...
I double checked that... all the wiring was color coded correctly and my wiring was perfect... I am an electrical engineer... I can only think that because my hid kit only had the low beam and that the fogs need to have all connections made... dunno...
I picked up an hid kit for my headlights (eBay $75) and after I installed it my fogs didnt work anymore. Then I bought another hid kit for my fog lights (eBay $22.99!!! no lenses) So I tried the SOGI fog light rewire first today... No dice. So I decided to inspect the switch... it is a simple...
Well took I took it apart and found the issue... apparently the guy that did the work was sloppy with his soldering iron and brushed up against a couple wires and melted the insulation away...
A little electrical tape and it works just fine
well with the new climate control unplugged everything except the dome lights works just fine.. i am going to try to plug the old climate control in and see if it all works still that way.. then i will know it is the new one
no hadn't tried that.. My brother in law was laughing at me because he thought that the shaking of the dash from cutting away some of the center console with a sawz-all was the problem and that i had shaken something loose... But i made sure not to hit any wiring or anything stupid like that...
I appreciate that.. I will try to get it apart today and see what i can see.. I'm not technologically retarded but i spent a couple of dollars on this and don't know the pinouts and resistances i should see... especially after it has been modded
