With fuel vapor coming out of the afm it might be possible an intake valve is stuck in the open position allowing vapors to travel backward through the intake

Update: Thanks Gonzy! Got the replacement crankshaft with both keys in place and crank bolt... needs a little cleaning but will work beautifully... got the Apexi SAFCII in today and looks good... Block and head are out at machine shop :)

Also have the auto trans, driveshaft and bellhousing for sale from the motor I bought. Torque converter comes with it however it will either need to be rebuilt or replaced.
