OK so first off i am new to using a multimeter so bear with me>>
I found a huge boost leak in my intercooler pipe off of the turbo fixed it too much boost...
then i found a hole in my wastegate vacumm line should fix the over boost prob right....
so i put everything back together...
so the car is a 89t stock except for there is no exhaust after the downpipe.
code 34 is abnormal boost pressure
the car will not tolerate any kind of boost it immediately stutters
its very hard to get it past 3000rpm at WOT just immediately stutters and flashes code 34
SO FAR I HAVE...
It is such a good feeling to see that spark after several weeks of nothing!!!!!!!
Turns out the cps was wired incorrectly, let this be a lesson to anyone with cut plugs.............
One door tends to open another in the supra world..
Now that i have spark i must get it timed correctly...

so this is a 89 turbo that i bought about a month ago so far i havent gotten it started due to what i believed to be a bad igniter. well two igniters later i finally have one that test good and still no spark.
Ive checked all the fuses in the engine bay all have continuity
so i checked...
OK got a good igniter and i have cleared code 51 and 41 still NO SPARK
so far i have
tested coil packs they ohm good
tested power to coils 12vlts
tested power to the igniter 12 vlts
checked for ground in the igniter
tested the cps wires
G2,G1,NE all ohm 150

thanks guys the only reason i mentioned the igniter, is because mine tested bad.
i am definately not getting any spark coil packs test good.

ok just got a 89 turbo and haven't been able to get it started the cps was wired all funny i was wondering if i have it wired correctly see the picture
Also i have code 51 and its not my ac switch and im in neutral when it flashes. i tested the igniter and it failed the first test in...
woops i was reading the coils secondary resitance which is unmesurable
im am no good with multi meters should the ohms stay constant or just flash for a brief second
thanks but i already reset the timing i even popped out my #1 spark plug and may sure it was at TDC the cam gears are in line with the noches and the crank on 0 and reset my cps
I want to be sure i have the wires on the cps hooked up right just so i know
