Yeah real shame to have to see it parted out Alex, but I guess it is what it is! Your progress with this car has certainly both inspired me and given me a lot of direction as to what I should be doing with my set up so thanks!
on second look at the pics it looks like it could have some sort of indentation there, the pic isnt that great! I sent them an email to see if they ship to australia, will see what they say.
Jose, fuel cell install looks nice and neat. I noticed in one of your pics that you have your harness anchored to the rear strut brace? You should really get a proper harness bar welded into the car mate, strut brace is not ideally designed for that.
^^ have not seen that site before, look like some decent products. One thing im weary of with that design though, it looks like its just a hole with mesh over the top. I would prefer to see a raised section in front of the vent to create a low pressure area for the hot air to vent into. Agree...
Right, well I have no idea what water pump is on my motor. I want to say its to suit a JZZ30 soarer but I can't be sure. In that case I'd need a clutch fan from a soarer I guess? I'm getting a bit ahead of myself as I am going to try other stuff first but it's nice to know what you're options are!
Thats idea I would certainly entertain, might be hard to find the MA70 fan shroud though. I remember selling one years ago but ive never seen a good condition once since. I dont run a shroud at the moment at all but the clutch fan should still be effective even without the shroud there?

So that backing plate will need to be grinded down with an angle grinder or something? otherwise its going to involve removing the hub and taking it to a machine shop which i CBF doing at this point in time. Obviously this wasnt an issue with the US based guys who've been using NAPA...
