This was driving me crazy. When the engine actually starts after turning over the valve moves its full motion (1/2 inch or so) - and when it the engine shuts down it moves alot again. Just turning the key and not cranking over the engine does nothing at all.
Also when bench testing the motor...
damn, flushing sucks. I converted over and my ac is tolerable but if I drive 5 miles on a 100 degree day this is NOT the fast cool system. Flush it well because you need every cooling ton possible. Nice work thare - took me a few mins to orient to the shot...been there bro been there.
Bullet proof up to a point. Once you're on a tight grip clutch the shock has to get absorbed somewhere.
Yes always upgrade and marlin has some good upgrades well worth and value adding. With internal tranny parts I have to spend my time I wouldn't use anything but OEM because it has a bullet...
Hatch glass AND defogger element. New ones work right used make it less than perfect.
If you go glass intall STOP removing stuff and just take it there.
Hatch color match ?
Used the pipe wrench and it worked - now the moog boot won't fit on the rack side - the new boot's circumference is smaller. Swear I should have gotten OEM because this is too much BS.
Replacing the rubber bellow on the power steering rack before it gets dirt in there. How do you loosen the part on the rack with the adjusting nut clamp. My 13mm slips on the rod and vice grips might bend the rod ?
Any suggestions ? Has anyone slipped the below over the ball joint ...
Dude I bought a master cylinder at autozone or reilly's and the rear brake plunger must have been installed backwards. Trying to bleed I would have to open the bleeder (rear) for the pedal to come back up. Returned that junk and got a new OEM at the dealer and never had a problem.
Maybe...
I'm running the ACT Xtreme clutch and oversized rear tires to solve my "traction problems" . I replaced the tranny input shaft bearing with toyota dealer OEM and I feel that this is still my weakest link in the drivetrain. Driving for 1 to 2 hours at 85 to 100 mph makes that tranny hot hot hot...
Every turbo I ever put on never whinned - a rebuit c-26 included. You sure it's not the pwr steering pump whinning with your engine RPM speed ? Inspect the fluid level etc.
Check for exhaust leaks, mine would really be bad pulling up to the drivethru and idling in line. Look at the couplings before the resonator. That uncatalysed exhaust must be pumped out the back otherwise you're like a motorboat with fumes coming up and around at the leaks.
I wouldn't want...
