Tie rod end removal on the rack side

Replacing the rubber bellow on the power steering rack before it gets dirt in there. How do you loosen the part on the rack with the adjusting nut clamp. My 13mm slips on the rod and vice grips might bend the rod ?

Any suggestions ? Has anyone slipped the below over the ball joint ?

Used the pipe wrench and it worked - now the moog boot won't fit on the rack side - the new boot's circumference is smaller. Swear I should have gotten OEM because this is too much BS.

UPDATE - the moog part K90079 was 4 3/4 CM rubber IN, OEM coming off was 5 1/2 CM IN, the beck/arney1032684 was 5 CM IN. Returned the moog.
