Funny enough, one guy in EU is running around with it. No issues through stock system. I know Zach Denny (ECUmaster guy) has a kit that he is installing also.
Thanks! Interesting. Bosch also touts the programmability of the assist. Are you going to try and play with that? I suspect it's not easy.

I am not sure why there is a fascination with brake progressiveness. No company screws with that after it went to production.

Bosch touts that because they have the software to do that.

For us mere mortals, that means cracking the encryption Bosch uses to protect all that info which will not happen this century. Bosch has it together when it comes to implementing encryption in thier devices (ibooster, electric power steering etc).

And for good reason - you really, REALLY don't want some fuckwit that can't tell the right end of a screwdriver messing around with the brake calibration settings in a brake by wire system.

Well lets clear something up.

There are no cars with Brake by wire capabilities. The have Electric assist which is what replaces the vacuum but in a complete loss of power, the ibooster does the exact same thing that the vacuum booster does, no assist. It is still mechanically driven.

It will brake unassisted but as with the vacuum based booster with no vacuum, you will have no assist while attempting to brake but the brake system will operate just fine. It will require more effort though but the brakes system is still available.

I know that the 7m block is flexible. My engine Japan Promodet Komine Engineering is supercharged at 1.2bar. I think it will be more reliable with a reinforcement plate.
And I'm converting to a dry sump.

Good ole Weiss/PRC 5 stage dry sump pump. Probably also has the hex adapter in the rear (judging by the discharge pipe on the rear).

In an engine with a turbine and a boost pressure of 1.2 bar, will there be a large vacuum?
Does the weiss pump develop a large vacuum?
I didn't find any information about them.

Not sure when they went from 6 stages to 5 stages but the 6 stage Weiss/PRC dry sump pump could.

Also remember, those dry sump pump survive 800+ hp sustained and that is pulling vacuum that they need to use vacuum pop offs so it dont pull to much vacuum.

Btw here is a 6 stage weiss pump. I do not see these any longer on ebay.

Yes, they are rare. But I prepared myself. Bought almost everything from a-1performancewarehouse,a-1performanceflorida,hindel15
The rarest is the red cap.
Often there are pumps of 5 sections.
I also bought hoses.
Special thanks for the information on dry sump vacuum seals! I'll try to search. Useful information!
