I didnt know this thread was here LOL...

I sell computers ( back at it again) at DELL in Nashville TN...you can see it from the internation airport here in...well...nashville. Yeah.

I just took 5 months off from doing it ( the pay was so good though) but I came back after 1 month of hell at a Dodge dealership in nashville

I had a run in with an incompetent manager that ran many many many, did I say many customers off. I couldnt stand working under him, much less around him so I left. I was the better man...I didnt want him to rub off on me and my lifestyle.

Anywho, yes I am back at DELL...so if you want a new computer or any software or peripheral items for your home...I am the man(n). Jonathan Mann...LOL

I havent got my new extension yet..should in the next week or so...
Its good the be back doing something productive with less stress...I worked full time last I was at Dell...now I am part time...for school and other misc work. I might even get bored and go help a buddy at the airbrush booth in my local mall again in the mornings LOL....

Ok thats enough from me. I just cant wait till the fall when I go back to school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I miss the math, science, art.......girls.... :p

Yay...we're not alone!

Actually it's funny when people that see you running at the track or at meets ask what you do. Most don't know what to say other than "I didn't think accountants did this sort of thing", or "You don't look like an accountant."

Considering so far that we are the only two, I guess in general accountants don't.

Oh well. I get the same thing.

I'm a Finance major at the University of Tennessee, but I work at the front desk of a Hampton Inn here for $8.10 + Bonus. So, the pay isn't that great, but I don't do a whole lot.

I'm a mechanical designer for a machine shop. I mainly design sawmill and mining equipment and other big-ass machinery. I also program the CNC machine, make laser and flame burn patterns and run their office computer network. I also run the shop floor when the foreman goes on holidays, which is often. It's a blast being able to do all the fun stuff, and not have to deal with customers directly!

I've thought about making MKIII parts for us, but our shop prices are really high, and not many could afford it.

Pokey: I never had a chance to fly the T-38, but they do look fun! I came in after the Air Force started using the T-1 to teach "heavy" drivers. I am looking forward to the T-6 with instant power and great air conditioning! :)

Up until last week, I was a Network Engineering Supervisor for T-mobile in Concord, CA making $75K/yr.

I am incredibly sick of telecom and all it's instability, so I quit that job so I can go back to school to become a Nurse Practicioner. I'm actually in the process of moving to Utah right now to go back to BYU.

Gooooood times. It'll be interesting to go from decent money to mac & cheese money to get through school. :sadwavey:

It'll be worth it in the long run definitely. I'll be doing something I enjoy and earning much more money with better benefits. (I just hope my wife and daughter don't kill me!)

I was an aircraft mechanic as a hydrulics specialist on the KC-10 Aerial refuler in the Air Force. Now I am a training monitor in the training office I pretty much make sure that everyone keeps up with their training. I am being medically retired from the service for my spine injury pretty much the doctors sved me from being paralyzed by operating on me although I will be in pain the rest of my life but oh well at least I can walk and still drive. :3d_frown:
