Actually, I lost 2 gears...lol Manual I was tired of the on/off RPS. I am more of a launch and drag race fan, and don't really drive my car far so it just works well for me. The reaction I get from people is kinda funny too.

I have been working on my trans swap to a 727 Chrysler auto. I usually do things my own way, and this is no exception. I am also a big mopar fan, and have studied and built quite a few 727 transmissions, so it was natural to want to use this trans to me.
Ratios for a 727 stock are first...
I think this everyday man! lol
1989-turned 16 in July..sex! a new girlfriend..sex..lol.....man what a year! first car was a 81 Tercel, then got a 74 Plymouth Duster with a huge hoodscoop and huge back tires. everybody thought the car was fast til they found out it had the slant six..lol 225...
I have been dealing with this issue forever also. I do agree that stand alone helps (alot) but this is a awesome cure!!! I would be in for one for sure also!
I don't know BMW stuff at all, but kinda seems a waste to tear into that to make a ffim for a supra. It's almost easier to use our stock lower and fab from there. Or make them completely from scratch. I've done several both ways. The biggest thing for most people is a tig welder.
I have the RPS 3200 w/ 6 puck sprung disc and RPS flywheel. I haven't run slicks yet, but have wide ass Sumitomo tires on that actually hook up a little on the track. I am running a SP71 between 20-26 psi on E-85 with all the right supporting mods. The car is Fast. I have only taken it to the...
Actually looks kinda good in a weird sorta way. If I was going to do it, I would put in a Cummins diesel built to shit. All the haters would shit when 1000+ ft lbs of torque stomps them at the track......lol NOT that I'd do it!!!
The condition of the car will always make a difference. I bought my 89 for $4500 about 5 years ago. It was completely stock and in Excellent shape with 67,000 miles. It is black w/ burghundy leather, targa, power everything, 5 speed, of course turbo. It was never ever driven in snow, and has not...
Dan, maybe if you didn't take a day off work on an already short week that would help you to find that extra grand you need....:3d_frown: lol
It really doesn't matter where one buys a turbo, as long as it's a reputable brand and from a reputable seller. However we are close enough to Sound...
Anybody notice in his list of mods he has his oil pump drive sped up by 15%.
I would like to know if anyone knows the owner of this car or has any info on doing that. I was contemplating having one made, but it's not cheap.
Of you guys that already have one, are any of you running a crank trigger for your stand alones? Are you using a missing tooth type or a magnet set-up? Will ATI make that as part of the dampner or do you have a bolt on one?
IJ, maybe for everyones benefit, could you explain the proper way of shotpeening rods? I'm not sure I could explain the correct way, or how to find a shop that does it right.
