No matter what you do, that fixed rim will always have that weak point and it will eventually fail if you are going to be drifting with it. Its like your subframe, if it cracks and you weld it, its still going to be weak at that point, i for one, would not risk my investment on that.

Actually a better product for loosening stuck bolts and rusted out stuff is PB blaster

I would take a flashlight and have a good look up under the steering column area and maybe remove the glovebox and have a look in there too for hacked up wiring jobs or stuff like a piggyback that was removed by just snipping the wires and left them hanging exposed, some people do some really...

Wether u get the body kit or not, youre still gonna have to paint it, ur not planning on slapping the primered kit on the car like every other ahem..... "ricer" out there are ya?. Paint the car and have it looking clean, a clean mk3 will turn heads more than any body kit will ever do.
