EDIT!
Fixed the old problem with a new tps.
New problem Can not rev the car. you hit the throttle it will die.
however when i unplug the map it will run in what we like to call limp mode and allow the car to rev.

How likely is it the ecu?
How likely is it the map sensor?

How do i check the map sensor to see if it is working corectly?

So i fixed the problem with it starting without out the intake blocked. the iac was stock open... it took me awhile but i got it unstcuck.

New Problem.(Fixed)
car is idling and i go to move the throttle the car dies.(fixed)

so i removed the tps and now i need to know how it goes back on.

Any ideas or thoughts on what i can do??
anything would be great!
Thanks

okay here is my odd situation with my 1jzgte swapped into a ma70.

The car started but would not idle(and kick of the throttle it would die), i did boost leak check and fixed several leaks including a huge one!

Now the car will not start unless i totally choke out the intake. I place my freinds hand over the intake and it will start, however the charge pipes suck in and look like they have collapsed.

At this time I can move the throttle cable but the motor does not rev up obviously because there is no air because it it blocked.

the car will stay idled like this for a very long time, the longest i have done is 45 seconds for fear or hurting the motor.

Can anyone help me diagnose my problem!

Thanks
Matt'!~

Is your TPS properly adjusted?

How do i adjust the tps?

thanks
edit found it!!

Back probe the TPS.
Signal wire, ground wire, and reference wire.
There should be those 3 wires on the TPS.
Check the signal and reference for voltage.
Ground for a good ground.
Signal wire 5v
Reference 5v
If you're not getting voltage, somewhere in the wires is a open.

Then what you want to do is put the probe on signal wire
and ground wire and move the throttle plate and see
if there is a change in voltage. This step you want
to do with the TPS plug in. Stick a pin in the back of the connecter
to the wires. You should get a change from close [0.5v]
up to [4.8v] WOT. If you're not getting a change in reading
and the top check out fines, bad TPS.

All of this is done with Key on engine off.
