This should actually go in the general discussion area, but this is concerning the Ride of the Month thread. WHAT IS GOING ON? That thread was for March, and not only has the winner not been revealed, but it's April now. You cannot delay like this, especially when there are prizes/gift certificates to be had for the potential winners. Now you're a month behind, and still have to give the last months winner a prize to boot. I'm sorry for posting in the wrong section, but no mods have ever really commented in that thread, and I wanna know what the hold up is. Just my two cents.

It was just your original post sounded a bit harsh to me it's not like anyone here was going to be out of pocket if it didn't happen.

^^ I agree... he was just trying to bring attention back to the ROTM.
I agree it's gonna take a few months of trial and error for the mods and admins to perfect this thing but I too forgot about the contest. I wonder how heated it got?

In my opinion, the winner should never be announced until the next month, at which point we start gathering entries and stuff for the next month. Allowing for a month of entries/deliberation.

Having everything happen within a few days is pushing it, and serves no purpose IMO. The winner is a winner for a month, that gives us a month to choose the next person.

In any case, I was not involved in this really, but maybe it's something to consider.
