Will a used stock flywheel perform well?

I'm getting the HPF Full Face Feramic + RPS 3200lb Pressure Plate installed, but now I'm wondering if I did the right thing by using a stock used flywheel. Does this have to be replaced NEW or at least resurfaced? What would happen if I just installed it as is?

Thanks.

Depends on its condition. Hot spots lead to heavy chatter. You can resurface, but if the metal was cooked, then it isn't worth it. It will still clamp to a point.

Resurface it, its not that hard to get done and not expensive or anything. I just replaced a clutch and had the flywheel resurfaced for 35 bucks, the guy did in less than 20 minutes, while I stood there and waited. Trust me, you will regret NOT doing if that the the road you choose.
