The first & third pics are not snow frozen rain. I kept crossing my fingers...and looking up for safe passage. Thankful to make it safely.

I did meet another guy towing a supra. He sold it taking it to Ohio...found out later he was trapped by the storm in Odessa.

Today I cleaned up the 89 only twice got stopped by folks wanting to buy her...shakes head...Go find your own.

I didn't know you were moving to Arizona. It's quit different out there versus here in the south. I used to live in El Paso. It's sad to see two beautiful southern Supras leave, but best of luck to you out west. Maybe you can make it SIV now. Make sure to get any salt of those Supras! I'd hate to see them start rusting.

hopefully soon I'll be getting a different set of wheels in better condition than my RPF1s and more rare. Combines everything I've always wanted with wheels, 5 stars and Ray's Engineering :D

I did the I-20 drive through the last ice storm. 14 hours from El Paso to Abilene. Then another 4 the next morning to Dallas. When west Texas freezes there is nothing you can do lol. Driving on straight up sheets of ice is terrifying.

You must have some skills. I think I have some new gray hairs.

Sheedy,
Liking the gauges. Get a chance I think I posted on my steering wheel rewrap. I have yet to put a thread in group buy, more of group discount 225 down from 250 for perfect leather on stock wheel.

My family is out here. Leaving a great job, and a great place to live is never easy. Yes going to try for SIV for sure. There is also the yotafest in Cali.

Been having issues with my speedometer needle jumping around rapidly, so I decided to relubricate the cables. The cables don't actually come out of the outer cable housing making it more difficult than some speedometer cables I have dealt with before. I got a little creative with some rubber hose and air fittings and was able to force oil through both cables with about 30psi of air pressure. My needle is now SOLID at anything over 10mph!

^^I'm a fan of the cleaner looking turbo covers. Good call on the textured black paint. Did the same on mine, but painted everything, including the ribs.

Thanks I think I'm favoring the NA ones just cuz the wrinkles came out better. I sanded the ribs on the turbo covers to make them silver since my motor will be all black and silver

Our motors will end up looking very similar. I was planning on black NA valve covers with silver accents, wrinkle black intake/3000 pipe, and dg500 coils.

Personally I'd go with the NA valve covers. That's just my preference though.

Haha I figured the I wouldn't be the first or last to do the color combo. I did end up going with the NA covers

She looks beautiful! I'm jealous of your weather. We had a very long winter here with much more snow and ice than usual for Alabama and now it's supposed to rain all week after it's been raining the last 3 days... Once the weather clears up here I'll finally be able to get the Supra out again. I probably haven't driven it in a month at least...

Got a set of Bomex mirrors from a member on here (great guy to do business with!) stripped them down, restored and replaced the mirror mechanism, new well nuts and hardware, a little bit of bondo and fiberglass work (the mirrors came in great condition but I'm overly critical haha) paint and install. I know they're not everyone's cup o' tea, but I like 'em!
