I bought a junkyard W-58 yesterday for $55, cracked it open and discovered it was practically new. So today i swapped it out, slightly difficult to pull a tranny without the pulling the engine, but it all went smooth. It's nice being able to downshift to second without grinding :)

Mine was getting caught on the crossover the previous owner installed in the door.

I'll be cleaning her today! First wash/polish/wax in a long time.

hmm well its ok now i think before getting crazy took a few things apart you know the door panel the mirror off and triangle thing that holds the mirror to the door off to get a good look see what was going on and im not to sure its weird, lubed everything up and even adjusted those pad/guides for the window and it seems to be ok for now (every now and then it seems like the window wants to go up slightly to far, kinda random haven't had a problem before)

and now my window isn't wobbly if its half down

Went and found an 89 turbo supra in a junkyard and got literally a truck load of parts for 200 bucks. Afterwards, I went back to my shop and started on the body work to my surpa. I would say today was a success.

Removed my turbo and exhaust manifold now all that is left is the last bit of the intake manifold then it is head removal time to change the head gasket.

just put a new ecu temp sensor in maybe this will solve my cold start long crank time (have tried the cold start timing switch not new because from the dealer that thing is over $100 and the cold start injector itself)

just picked up some nto5's. 235-40 and 265-35 18's. going to put them on my 18x8 +40 and 18x9.5 +35 tsw thruxtons.
i know, i know, i'm going to need at least front spacers to make it look good. that's ok, because got the wheels for $100, and the tires for $450. :)

Finally got around to swapping my rebuilt R154 (it's been complete and sitting on the bench since last August) back in for the temporary W58 along with a new SPEC stage 2 clutch kit... Taught myself (via the TSRM) how to replace a clutch/tranny. . .
Also moved a few steps closer to my interior re-do (all new leather, switched from mishmash of blue/maroon/grey interior to all black, brand new carpet and all... I really need a build thread! :)

You'll like them I imagine. I have a set of 275's all around, and frankly... I'm afraid of the limits of the car at this point. I know it has higher limits than I have the balls to explore on the street.

Hit a patch of dirt or gravel or something at the limits of these tires and you're probably dead. ;)
