I wonder if we got a group buy going through ACL if they would make the ACL Race Tri-metal bearings for the 7M

Also you guys kill me with the lack of knowledge you have on berings. If you are killling berings you probably had piss poor tuning, too high engine heat, improperly filled crank case, ran way too f/n rich and washed the gass into the oil, poor machining, and piss poor assembly of the motor. I have found that most of you do it yourseff first time mechanics fuck up your assembling of the parts, or cut corners on the machining. Some forget to cut, and resize the rods. Most of you just get the crank cut to one size like -10 under , and the machinist doesent check the block to crank main clearances, or rod to crank clearances with all of the parts at the machinist to make sure that all the tolerances are met for each journal on the crank for mains and rods. Most of you don't get the block aligned hone to truethemains either. The crank and rods have a thin coat of oil that they ride that keeps the mains and rod berings from touching metal under constant oil pressure. If pressure is low you will soon get knock, if you detonate you can get knock, if you wash gas into the oil from running too which you can get knock. If your oil is too hot it can deteriorate berings and cause knock. If you mix rod caps on assembly like most have told me in pms that can cause knock.
