Perfect pick on the color. I've seen a TTR jz70 in that color and it's amazing. Sadly it wasn't offered to us...just like the rest of the good stuff we don't normally get..

Nice billy! Keep it up. Your finished start date should be march 9th!!! Give you a month to work out bugs

so to make the meet im leaving the car as is, alot of stuff has been hitting my back pocket kind of hard the last few weeks so paint is low on my list of things to buy. as of right now my focus is to get the car up and going to get it to the meet then pull the motor back out the first week of march to prep for paint. im kind of glad things have gone this route though because it will allow me to get everything exactly how i want it and if i need to add any wiring i may have forgot or random bits i can do that in march when the motor is out for paint. the motor is more or less ready to drop in (minus the cams but that can be done in car) just been holding off because i wanted to finish my DP and manifold but that should be done tonight so i will most likely drop her in tomorrow night...then the fun of pinning in the 128 will begin...hopefully i can get that all done before Friday that way i can drive it down Saturday morning to the meet...i know its a long shot but its been done before.

Wow this build is epic! just read the whole thing im excited to see it complete! hope you guys get everything done and working properly! Cant wait to see everything in place! my manifold that I'm going to be using looks identical and I think im going to use your idea for the oil drain that i was worried about cause of the tight runners.

Stupid question perhaps.. but your turbo oil input line is not clocked correctly is it? (not in car, so I am assuming not final clocking... I would think should be at 12:00)

yea that was just mock up mostly, manifold will be getting a spacer welded onto it. reason i am welding the spacer on is because the manifold has two out of the four holes drilled out on the t4 flange. it will resolve that issue as well as bump the turbo up a bit for better clocking for oil lines and intercooler piping routing.

just about ready to turn the key, still have some stuff to run before i start it thought. my fuel pump relay will be wired tonight, need to run some fuel lines, rewire my starter, and run lines for my boost controller...some other random bs im forgetting but its getting close.

made my throttle cable mount spacer, best way to run 1j throttle cables that ive found over the years.

Saturday / Sunday 90% pinned, still need stuff like flex fuel and boost controller but everything to start the car is there besides the fuel pump trigger

Looks like you are making good progress. Can't wait to see it running. I like it when I see your thread has updates, always lots of pictures, even if all those wires scare me :)
