White looks good.
I noticed the pillar pods. Whats your mod list? (FYI I turned off seeing others' sigs)

Yeah it looks good on camera. there is alot of blemishes but no rust thank god. I just listed the mods. The pillar pods are made of plastic and tend to warp in the texas sun.

I'm not at home right now but when I get back I will take pics of the motor and I believe I have pics of the rebuild somewhere.

Nice supra. I only like the maroon interior on white cars.

Thats all i've ever had. silver and maroon. and white and maroon. The only thing wrong with the interior is the cracked dash and the sun baked head rests.

I've had the gokart for about 4 years now. It was once a yerf dog then I custom made the rear frame for a golf kart diff. With forward, neutral, and reverse. And the motor is a briggs&stratton 16hp vanguard from a generator. elec and pull start. I widened the front frame and stretched it so my dad can fit in it. GT grant steering wheel and custom from a-arms and tie rods. I hit a few trees. And a reinforced front nose. And 4 lug golf kart tires. It is slow as hell but it can pull anything. Oh and a honda odyssey clutch.

What I did this afternoon after work. A front turbo pipe for Spawntaker aka: Abrahim.
Not finished but almost there. I'm only going off of pics since he is out of town. But here it is.

p1592859_1.jpg

I still need to clean it and smooth it up.
p1592859_2.jpg

p1592859_3.jpg

And I also need to drill and weld nipples.
p1592859_4.jpg

I have a feeling that I might have not made a sharp enough bend. What do you think?

Progress for you Abrahim.
All welded except for the nipples
I got my penetration on the welds and grinded so I could make the pipe look seamless on the outside.
And I cleaned out the inside as much as I could.

yep its mild steel. 3". I put the nipples on it today and installed it on Spawntaker's car also. It looks really good on the car. Almost better than the cooleeze pipe.

What I did today

I welded the 38mm wastegate flange onto the adapter finally. I decided to give the adapter to Spawntaker. I couldn't sell it and I didn't need it. But if anybody would want me to make them one I can.

I come from a land down under
You want to shoot for about 70% penetration on your welds as a smooth surface inside is much more important than strength in this case.
(no load on an intake or ic pipe so 70% is easily strong enough)

I will take more pics of the interior when I finish putting it back together. Its a mess right now. I also got a Sub box from Spawntaker (thank you). And a Kenwood KAC-9103D from my brother. But that is it for now.

Your right on the money. I would have done it tig. But I sold that machine. But its good enough for this pipe. Any other pipe I would have. Like IC pipe I would have done what you said

We picked up power on the dyno in the past changing from a spiral pipe between the aircleaner and turbo to a smooth bore one, you can still do it with a Mig just takes a little practice fiddling with settings.

will do. I'm going to make another one anyways. Abe's car is a non-turbo shell so it came with the n/a PS res. I didn't know that until after I made the pipe. So I was kinda bummed that I spent all the time for no real reason at all. Next time I'll pay closer attention to the details. Damn I need to go refill the bottle too. Thanks for the advice. What kind of difference did you see HP wise. Throttle response?
