Hi guys.

I've just swapped TH350 in my MKIII. Haven't driven it much yet, but already have one question.. Here is situation:
Wet road, winter tires, step on the brake, step on the gas.. 3000RPM - car stands. 3200RPMs - car begins to spin tires.. Well, 3200 is 600-700RPMs less than my turbo begins to build any significant boost.
And now the questions:
1) Will I be able to give more load and RPMs on drag radials and dry road? Or car will spin tires at 3200 in any road conditions?
2) Is it good idea to install NOS and use it just after launch? How fast it will bring my RPMs and boost (I'm thinking about 50-75 shoot)
3) If I get higher stall TC, will it kill power in upper RPMs or it will just shift launch RPMs? What TC do you recommend for 4700-6500 powerband (from full boost till power curve drops)?

PS: also I need some ideas what tranny cooler to get and where to mount it.. Are there any thick ones but not very high and long?

I would get a bigger stall. Hard was th350 swap? I am thinking of going th350 or th400 for my supra down the road.

with good tires, and better road conditions, you should be able to stand on that converter even more. How much more, I have no clue. But with more and more resistance, it will be even closer to your turbo spooling. I would say wait until there are good roads and then try it.

to SlowSupra:
I had to cut and weld tunnel. Bellhousing is much bigger than R154.

to gilberjj:
I have to decide right now, because if I'll wait till good roads and then buy something, it will arrive just before season ends (see my location).

So, is it safe to hit NOS at that low RPMs? (3K) I've heard it's dangerous to enable it @ low RPMs...
