Hi guys.
I've just swapped TH350 in my MKIII. Haven't driven it much yet, but already have one question.. Here is situation:
Wet road, winter tires, step on the brake, step on the gas.. 3000RPM - car stands. 3200RPMs - car begins to spin tires.. Well, 3200 is 600-700RPMs less than my turbo begins to build any significant boost.
And now the questions:
1) Will I be able to give more load and RPMs on drag radials and dry road? Or car will spin tires at 3200 in any road conditions?
2) Is it good idea to install NOS and use it just after launch? How fast it will bring my RPMs and boost (I'm thinking about 50-75 shoot)
3) If I get higher stall TC, will it kill power in upper RPMs or it will just shift launch RPMs? What TC do you recommend for 4700-6500 powerband (from full boost till power curve drops)?
PS: also I need some ideas what tranny cooler to get and where to mount it.. Are there any thick ones but not very high and long?
