Pics will have to wait one more day that prove FIPG was used on the CHRA oil feed and return lines flange gasket, obstructing the opening and perhaps causing FOD to the bearing.

411/383 w/a 50 trim CT26 on a day when the OAT was 86 causing heat soak rapidly, with the stock intercooler. Time to upgrade the intercooler... Nice fat torque curve though!

How does Duraflex parts live?
They're living well, so far... They're all well fastened to the stock mounting points.

The car handles very well at speed and using the rear wing it is more stable at speed than it ever was w/o it. I'm planning on getting a custom engine under tray and body under trays, running down each floor pan from front to rear wheel wells, to smooth out the air under there.

Here's what's going on my Supra...synapse valve.jpgEnough with the compressor surge at the track during throttle modulation at speed! It's a Synapse diverter valve that is known to do a better job for track purposes than the HK$ at adjusting out that type of compressor surge.

Rear brake pads are below 50%, so I'm opting to go Carbon/Kevlar for the rear replacement pads. Porterfield http://porterfield-brakes.com/categories/Brake+Pads/Racing+Brake+Pads.html makes them for our stock calipers. I have a set on the front Wilwood brake calipers and they have lasted through 6ix track days and daily driving them last year for a year. Now they're down to 60%. They're not inexpensive to purchase, but I've more than gotten my $$$ back out of them. I use their R4-1 vintage pads. They come up to ops temp rather quickly and have a high coefficient of friction.

Synapse DV.jpgSynapse DV 2.jpgSynapse DV 1.jpgThis is now installed and working WAY better than the HK$ EVER did. No more compressor surge under light to moderate load when modulating the throttle. The gear shifting and power are both way smoother too thanks to the reaction time and speed that the valve is capable of!
