2JZ-1JZflywheel-Spec 7MGTEclutch/pp-1JZBH-R154 blah blah useless info

I cant seem to find out which bolts to use for the Pressure plate to flywheel I allready have the ARP's for the flywheel-motor. I would asume 2J bolts? and there are only 6 right? Any place to get them cheaper then my local dealership?

Jeff watson at champion toyota should be able to get you a better price. And as far as I know, you need to use the 2j ones.

I bought the MK3 bolts and they weren't long enough to go through the Spec pressure plate. I then got MK4 bolts and they "to me" looked identicle in length. I emailed Driftmotion about them and they said they had them for sale on the site but they dont and they havent gotten back to me. Im pretty pissed I wanted to get the tranny attached to the motor during the weekend but no such luck

I show 90119-08302 for the JZA70, while the MA70 is 90119-08322. Not sure why the difference, maybe the JZA70 ones are in fact longer. I would think they'd be the same. Is the SPEC pressure plate really that thick?

I come from a land down under
Take a bolt to your local bolt specialist and say "I want some like this but x-mm longer please and Grade 8 or better.

Probably cost $10 and you're set for the trans install.

The PP bolts are as highly stressed as you'd think but still need to be decent quality.

Errr... it's a well documented fact that the SPEC pressure plate (at least for stage 1, 2, or 3) *is* a Toyota PP that's been painted blue. Hell, it still says Toyota on the casting!

Is the pressure plate properly aligned and on the dowel pins?

I beleive you I'm sure the 7M's would work fine Its got to be Toyota they wont admit when they are in the wrong and once I take things out of the bag I cant return them.
It wouldnt be the 1st or 10th time this dealership has messed my Sh*t up
It does have toyota in the casting so Im sure its the right one.

those are not the right bolts.

Ace hardware has a metric section. At least all of em if FL do. Did you ask one of the people that work there?
