are you sure thats the nly options? maybe stainless steel? A brand new one will not be a permanenet solution cause in 5 years it will crack and break again.

if you REALLY want the figures i will get my recent BHG receipts and tell you the exact friggin price.

as for a fix. buy a new one. period. dont waiste time on BLING because unless you relocated your alternator (i hope not) or removed it...you will NOT SEE THIS HOSE!! so bling factor is just crap unless you plan on removing engine parts at your next car show.

the new hose i bought was not like the old one i took off. it was identical in shape but had a two-layer design. black thick rubber with a thin outer grey coating. my guess is they improved their composition in 20 years just like everything else done with cars and its better now.

buy one, you'll be happy putting it on and will forget about it once the alternator hides it from ever being seen again.

its less than 30 bux BTW for quick reference.

I bought a bunch of other stuff with it and shipping was like 6 bucks, the whole order was $87.

The list price Curt gave me for that hose was $30.54
