Hello everyone, finally got some pics up. Picked her up a few weeks ago when my 240sx went buy buy. The color I know is super rare and it has grown on me, this is what I have added so far.

- TEIN Super Street coilovers
- XXR 962 Wheels - 18x8.5 front / 18x9.5 rear
- Falken FK 452 tires - 245/40/18 Front - 275/35/18 rear
- New rack and pinion w/ tie rod ends

By next week I should have my Arizona Performance Wilwood front brakes, and 1.5 JZ build should be done by August (was gonna go into my S13, I feel the MKIII is much better choice).

So far I love the car, have work on and built many an FC, S13/14 and others, the MKIII is definately a great chassis.

I'll keep you posted with the build.

Don't know how rare it is exactly, but I think I have only found 3-4 others on the forums with this color.

I plan on going with an 89-92 front bumper and a lip or I might switch to the ShineAuto Greddy style full front bumper.

First is the motor

Love the color! I know of one in my area, and a few years back, I bought and parted out what was left of a wrecked one.

Your car looks really good with those wheels. I'm not a fan of the bareback look though. I'd try to do the front bumper at the same time as the motor install. The extra room you get with the bumper off helps a lot. As for the Shine Spec-G, I have it and love it. But, it is pretty brittle, so lowering even more wouldn't be the way to go.

I am not opposed to leaving the pre-89 bumper on, but am wanting a bit more aggressive look and my lower lip options are not very high for the pre-89 bumper.

I will definately add side and rear valance. This is all towards the end of the build.

Any ideas on front lips for the stock pre-89 bumper?

You want a more aggresive look, you should consider lowering it a bit more. 1.5" front and 1" rear, from stock. There is no rubbing. Keep the pre 89 lip IMO. I would add an original spoiler. Take a look at mine if you like the look, then there you go.

Nice color :icon_bigg Good luck.

I actually had the front lower, 0.25" and was rubbing under hard cornering. Rear fits fine, but the front was rubbing fender went turning hard or onto a driveway.

I like the 89-92 Taillights and moldings as well, but the taillights swap would not look right if the front was not done.

So I think the consensus is to stay pre-89 and represent the old school, lol. I might have to do that.

Granted I still have stock wheels. Really with the rim and tire setup and the height yours is sitting at, it looks pretty good. It is good to get different opinions, but in the end do what you like.

PCguylovesSupra, your supra is clean, and you are correct. Not the first car I have set up, and standing out a little is good. Mind you the paint does that for me, lol

Everyone does the newer bumper and tailights, but the older pre-89 stuff is growing on me, Decisions, decisions.

Swapping to '89+ front will make the car look LESS aggressive, if anything. ;) Pre '89 front looks nasty. Lay on your stomach about 15 feet in front of your car and look at it. You will understand.

As for pre '89 lips, they're hard to come by in original form, but there are a few aftermarket options such as Shine, CFX (took me forever to find one), and a few others. Pre '89 with a good lip on it looks incredible.
