Here is what has been accomplished over the last few days.

Welded the top of the trans tunnel back in for shifter location difference. And primered.

I got my intercooler.

I think its 28x8x2.5 and 2.5 in and out

It will be a really tight fit if i can get it behind that damn ugly bumper

new oil pump pickup

Did some repair work on the oil pan, then welded the baffle back in and painted

I set up the throttle cable and new gas pedal, had to cut out about 4 inches off of the supra pedal becasue the throw was too long after being bent to fit in the car.

works pretty good

I purchased an aftermarket Cooleeze Downpipe from a member on another site.

Here is a comparision from the stock to the aftermarket, it fits wayyyy better than the stocker did.

This is an awesome project, man.
If- when you're done, this thing looks almost totally stock, I think it'll be one of the coolest sleepers I've ever read about.

Thanks for all the comments guys! It really makes me want to work on it more often now that people want to see it done!

I am defiently going to go sleeper with this car for now, for more than one reason too....
I will not be able to get matching wheels for it.... the front will be 4x114.3 and 0 offset and the rears will be 5x114.3 and FWD offset, I dont know of any manfacturer that makes matching ones, and it would look funky with different offsets. If I just get a set of FWD steel wheels....

ill finish later, got something to do...

ok...
If I get FWD steel wheels for the back I think I can keep it looking relatively stock except for the offset. The Hopefully the tires will be able to sit under the wheel wells and that the fwd offset will be enough. Based on rough measurements it should work, but it isnt in the car yet so I can not be sure

Problem is finding a way to convert the front to 5 lug.... there are not too many old toyota parts around me that I can scavange....

If you knew what would work one of us probably has access to it in our local salvage yards. Lots of old toyotas here in memphis.
