There is no possible way that anyone can just hate all v8's, if you're saying that then you probably haven't ridden in a decent v8 powered car.

I had an old Cutlass before the Supra ZZ430 with a hot cam, and 1.7 roller rockers, headers, dual SS exhaust, 202 ali heads, TH350 trans etc... it ran low 12's on STREET tires. A 12.2 actually on 225 pizza cutters.
